Stability Report for AccutaseLZ
AccutaseLZ is a lyophilized version of Accutase, cell detachment solution. AccutaseLZ is available for purchase in a standard lyophilization vial and produces 500mls of Accutase after reconstitution. When reconstituting Accutase, it is only necessary to add cool distilled water and sterile filter.
As AccutaseLZ was created for the express purpose of simplifying shipping to extreme destinations, stability testing using our standard enzyme activity assay was performed on the lyophilized Accutase at room temperature (RT) and 37°C which covers most extreme shipping conditions. The vials were stored at RT and 37°C for two months. During this time, the samples were tested weekly for a month, and then tested again at 5 weeks and finally at 8 weeks. The results are as follows:

These results indicate that AccutaseLZ can be shipped nearly anywhere in the world without any degradation in the quality of the product. The testing was stopped after two months because this time frame is adequate to cover all shipping conditions.
- A vial of AccutaseLZ can withstand 37°C for four weeks without affecting its ability to detach cells.
- A vial of AccutaseLZ can withstand RT for two months without affecting its ability to detach cells.
These results indicate that AccutaseLZ can be shipped nearly anywhere in the world without any degradation in the quality of the product. The testing was stopped after two months because this time frame is adequate to cover all shipping conditions.
